The LRC cars — for “Light, Rapid, Comfortable” — were built by Bombardier with an Alcan aluminum carbody and an active tilt system of up to 8.5 degrees, for fast running on VIA Rail's Quebec City–Windsor Corridor. This rare Amtrak scheme recalls the LRC trial on the U.S. Northeast Corridor in the early 1980s. Rapido faithfully reproduces the carbody profile, appointed interior and version-specific detailing.
