This classic Grand Trunk Western style caboose follows an authentic design based on cars first built in the 1920s with wood bodies and steel underframes and later updated with AB brake equipment. These cars were in service from the 1920s through the 1970s. Similar designs served on railroads across the country and this car is available in several road names. The fully assembled, railroad-ready model features:
Complete interior detail
Factory-installed running board, grab irons, brake wheel, smoke jack and other detail parts
Correct leaf spring arch-bar trucks
Ultra-smooth rolling metal axles and 33" wheelsets
Proto MAX(TM) metal knuckle couplers

Please Note: As the wheelbase and placement of the trucks on these cars matches the prototype, a minimum radius of 24" is recommended for operation.
