The Xuron 9200 Tapered Head Micro-Shear® Flush Cutter is the culmination of more than 20 years of development. Made from tough alloyed steel, heat-treated and CNC-ground, it offers cutting edges hardened to 56-58 Rc for exceptional longevity. Its tapered head allows precise positioning, even on fine-pitched leads and in the most confined areas.
Thanks to the patented Micro-Shear® technology, the 9200 produces clean, square, flush cuts on soft wire up to 14 AWG (1.6 mm), and even cuts stone-setting prongs. 5 in (127 mm) long, with ergonomic Xuro-Rubber™ grips, a Light-Touch™ return spring and a glare-eliminating black finish. Not recommended for hardened or tempered wire.
