This Central Valley 41' flatcar is based on a Northern Pacific prototype used by many railroads, notably for maintenance service and hauling heavy machinery. The model is finely detailed, with a precisely molded brakewheel and deck planks featuring wood grain and stake pockets. Made in the USA of 100 percent styrene, the kit includes the parts needed to build two complete flatcars; trucks, couplers, weights and decals are not included. Microscale decal #460-871399 (sold separately) provides correct lettering for the NP cars on which this model is based.
