Looking for an authentic Canadian boxcar with a story of its own? The Rapido Trains Trenton Works 6348 cu.ft. boxcar, in Canadian National colors, is exactly that kind of piece. Built between November 1993 and February 1994, these 300 cars first hauled wood and lumber products across Canada, with a strong presence in Québec soon after delivery. This version recreates the car in its as-built factory appearance, without conspicuity stripes or later repaint, ideal for setting your trains in the 1990s.

What sets this model apart is Rapido's signature prototype fidelity. Drawn from original blueprints and field measurements, it faithfully reproduces this versatile car down to its quirks: unusually, these cars never carried the French "Canadien National" spelling, wearing the traditional "Canadian National" on both sides with bilingual data and warning stencils. Redi Roof 1, Barber S-2 cast-steel trucks, semi-scale couplers and turned metal wheels: everything is here for a realistic, ready-to-run car equally at home in lumber or general-merchandise service.
