The Tempo's Mexican cousin: this Rapido Trains Hawker Siddeley RT-85 coach wears Nacionales de México's grey scheme with orange roof, full “Nacionales de Mexico” lettering and “Primera” (first class) markings, and comes in four road numbers.

What sets this model apart is Rapido's signature prototype fidelity. On the same platform as the Tempo cars built in 1968 for CN's intercity services, Hawker Siddeley delivered very similar RT-85 coaches to Nacionales de México, recognizable by their split windows and N de M scheme. The model features a full multi-colour interior with individually installed seats, track-powered “Easy-Peasy” interior lighting operated by magnetic wand (included), and a fully detailed underbody.

Features

  • Hawker Siddeley RT-85 “Mexico Coach” in HO scale, Nacionales de México scheme, first class (“Primera”)
  • Road numbers offered: 4333, 4345, 4363 and 4380
  • Full, multi-colour interior with individually installed seats
  • Track-powered “Easy-Peasy” interior lighting and working marker lights operated by magnetic wand (included)
  • Capacitor installed for flicker-free lighting over dirty track
  • Complete underbody with separate piping and conduit
  • Detailed diaphragms with etched-metal end gates
  • Super-detailed, free-rolling trucks and wheelsets
  • Separate grab irons installed at the factory
