Add a modern premium GE ET44AC to your HO fleet: the ScaleTrains Rivet Counter model, in Union Pacific paint, captures this six-axle Tier 4 GEVO in exceptional detail.

The GE ET44 “GEVO” is GE's Tier 4 generation (introduced in 2012): a 4,400 hp, six-axle diesel-electric powered by a GEVO-12 engine meeting EPA Tier 4 emissions standards. It rides a longer frame with an enlarged radiator and distinctive exhaust housing; over 1,000 units now run for North America's Class I railroads (production moved to Wabtec in 2019).

This version recreates a Union Pacific unit in the “Building America” scheme, supplied with an ESU LokSound 5 DCC and sound decoder and road-number and era-specific details.

Features

  • GE ET44AC “GEVO” Tier 4 diesel-electric locomotive, 4,400 hp, six-axle (C-C)
  • 12-cylinder GEVO-12 prime mover meeting EPA Tier 4 standards (modeled engine sounds)
  • Premium Rivet Counter line from ScaleTrains
