Return, Exchange and Refund Policy

At Modèle B.T., we strive to provide our customers with clear and fair service. This policy sets out the conditions applicable to returns, exchanges, and refunds made through our store.

This policy applies subject to the rights and remedies provided under applicable laws, including the legal warranties set out in the Consumer Protection Act.

1. Return Period

We accept return or exchange requests within 15 days of receipt of the order.

2. Eligibility Conditions

To be eligible for a return or exchange, the item must:

  • be in the same condition as when it was received;
  • not have been used;
  • be returned in its original sealed packaging, where applicable;
  • be accompanied by proof of purchase.

All returns must be authorized in advance by our customer service department. No item returned without prior authorization will be accepted.

4. Return Shipping Costs

For eligible voluntary returns made in accordance with this policy, return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer.

However, if the return results from:

  • an error on our part;
  • a damaged item;
  • a defective item;
  • an item that does not match the order;
  • or a case where a remedy is provided by law,

the applicable costs will be covered in accordance with the legal rules in force.

5. Damaged, Defective or Incorrect Items

Please inspect your order upon receipt. If an item is defective, damaged, or does not match the item ordered, please contact us as soon as possible at info@modelebt.com so that we may assess the situation and offer an appropriate solution.

Depending on the circumstances, this solution may take the form of an exchange, refund, repair, or store credit, in accordance with our legal obligations and the nature of the reported issue. Legal warranties may apply independently of this policy.

6. Items Not Eligible for Return or Exchange

Except where required by applicable law, the following items are not eligible for return or exchange:

  • sale or clearance items;
  • items that have been used after receipt;
  • gift cards;
  • items purchased on pre-order;
  • items put aside or reserved;
  • any item that does not meet the eligibility conditions set out in this policy.

The conditions applicable to items purchased on pre-order are also governed by our Pre-Order Policy.

7. Refunds

a) Eligible voluntary returns

For any eligible return that does not result from a defect, damage, or order error, an exchange or store credit will be offered.

Store credit is issued in Canadian dollars and does not expire.

b) Defective, damaged, incorrect items or cases provided by law

Where a refund applies, it will be issued to the original method of payment within up to 10 business days following approval of the request or receipt and inspection of the returned item, as applicable. Please note that the actual processing time may vary depending on your financial institution’s policies.

8. Inspection and Processing of Returns

Upon receipt of your return, we will inspect it. You will be notified of the decision once this review has been completed.

If your return is approved, we will apply the appropriate solution depending on the circumstances, whether an exchange, store credit, repair, or refund.
