The LokPilot 5 is the most important member of the LokPilot family and suits almost any locomotive in H0 and 0 gauge. It is offered with all common interfaces.
A true multi-protocol decoder, it masters DCC as well as Motorola, Selectrix and M4. In DCC it handles 14 to 128 speed steps, short and long addresses and up to 32 functions. Thanks to RailComPlus it registers automatically on a compatible command station. It recognizes Märklin braking distances, ZIMO HLU / ZACK commands and the Lenz ABC system, and also runs on DC and AC analogue.
Depending on the interface version, the decoder offers at least 10 amplified function outputs of 250mA each; PluX22 or 21MTC versions add 4 outputs for servos or logic-level outputs. Motor control, with an adjustable PWM frequency from 10 to 50kHz and the "Autotune" function, ensures very quiet running up to 1.5A of motor current. A PowerPack can be connected to bridge dirty track sections.
Features
- Multi-protocol motor decoder: DCC, Motorola, Selectrix, M4
- 8-pin NEM652 interface, H0 and 0 gauges
- At least 10 amplified 250mA outputs
- Up to 1.5A motor current, Autotune function
- RailComPlus, PowerPack can be connected
- Made by ESU
