The ESU PowerPack Mini can be wired to all fourth- and fifth-generation ESU decoders. It reliably supplies power to your locomotive over dirty track and long turnout ladders.

With its 1 Farad energy storage it supplies all light and motor functions as well as the sound module: subject to the model's consumption it may keep running for up to three seconds. The integral charging circuit is controlled by the decoder, so it may be connected even during programming; the charging current is limited. The buffer time can be reduced via a CV to ensure the correct stopping position ahead of signals. Despite its small size (about 15.7mm x 9.7mm x 13mm), its space requirements must be taken into account. A three-pole wire harness, already soldered to the PowerPack Mini, must be soldered to the matching pads on the decoder. For technical reasons the PowerPack does not work in analogue mode.

Features

  • 1 Farad energy buffer
  • Up to three seconds of run time depending on consumption
  • Dimensions about 15.7mm x 9.7mm x 13mm
  • Compatible with 4th- and 5th-generation ESU decoders
  • Three-pole solder harness, buffer time adjustable via CV
  • Made by ESU
