Rapido SW1200RSm "Sweep"
A truly Canadian locomotive: in 1986 and 1987, Canadian National's Pointe-Saint-Charles shops mated the cab of an SW1200RS to the long hood of a retired GP9 to create eight units quickly nicknamed "Sweep" (SW + GEEP), designated GS-413a and GS-413b and uprated to 1,300 hp. After CN, some went on to CANAC and then Savage. Rapido reproduces the Sweep in HO scale with an ESU LokSound DCC and sound decoder factory-installed and the Mo-Power capacitor system. Every version offered here is DCC and sound. Pre-order.
