Rapido CF7
The CF7 began as a Santa Fe idea: instead of scrapping its worn-out streamlined F7s, the railroad rebuilt them between 1970 and 1978 at its Cleburne, Texas shops into hood units with a road switcher cab, usable anywhere on the system. Later sold to dozens of short lines, they spread from New England to Mexico. Rapido reproduces the 2026 run in HO scale with an ESU LokSound DCC and sound decoder factory-installed and the MoPower capacitor system. Every version offered here is DCC and sound. Pre-order.
