How do you model a verge left to grow wild? The Martin Welberg Scenic Studios Wild Verge mat is a mat of about 21 × 30 cm covered with layered 2 to 6 mm tufts, randomly placed on a Rough Meadow-type textured soil floor.
The ultra-thin vinyl backing cuts with scissors or a hobby knife and conforms to terrain contours; a regular hair dryer helps shape it. Glue it down with a latex-based glue or spray adhesive, in one piece or in patches for a more natural look. Ideal for verges, roadsides, ditches and trackside. Available in spring (Type A), early winter (Type F) and late winter (Type G) versions, with grass only or with weeds. Works in any scale.
Features
- Ready-to-use grass mat of about 21 × 30 cm (11¾ × 8¼ in)
- Layered 2 to 6 mm tufts on a textured soil floor
- Ultra-thin vinyl backing, easy to cut
- Can be heat-formed with a hair dryer
- Seasons available: Spring (Type A), Early Winter (Type F) and Late Winter (Type G)
- Grass only or with Weeds
- Works in any scale
- Made in the Netherlands by Martin Welberg Scenic Studios
