Into work trains? This Rapido Trains F30A flatcar with sleeper camp van, in Canadian Pacific colors, nails the look of maintenance-of-way consists.

What sets this model apart is Rapido's signature prototype fidelity. The Pennsylvania Railroad's 50-foot F30A-class flatcar — 1,500 of them built in 1933-1934 around a rugged one-piece cast-steel frame — proved so durable that many survived into the Conrail and CSX era in maintenance-of-way (MOW) service. Here, the car carries a bunk-type sleeper camp van, like those that housed traveling railroad crews. Rapido faithfully reproduces the frame, trucks and version-specific detailing. Knuckle couplers, metal wheels and a fully detailed underframe: it is all here.

Features

  • F30A 50' flat car with sleeper camp van, HO scale
  • Canadian Pacific (MOW) livery
